I want to get some small grass to dot in a few areas of my tank. ( near front )
I dont want it to spread like a carpet or grow really high. Does anyone know if there is such a grass that will suit what im looking for?

Oh right might give that one a miss then for where i want to cover. Option in the future tho for my driftwood maybe

Dwarf hairgrass grows about 6” tall and spreads well. If you don’t want it to spread you can contain it in a pot. I have some in one of my tanks and it’s pretty easy to care for. You can trim the front, leaving it longer in the back to add some more visibility and dimension if you do let it spread. Just be aware if you have other plants it can outcompete them for nutrients and take over.
