Hi, I have a Betta which just either lies at the bottom of the tank or floats at the top. He occasionally (once an hour or so) as a very small swim around. Fins are clamped/degrading and he won’t eat. Any help would be great let appreciated.

We have had him 6 months and apart from a bout of fin rot 4 months ago he has been fine and lively. Other fish (10x espe’s, 2x bamboo shrimps and 3x rabbit snails) are all happy and healthy. A few of the Espe’s also appear pregnant.

He doesn't feel good, does he? Are his gills inflamed? Looks kind of like it but hard to tell. What are your water parameters? Can you try to get a better shot of him?

Could he have a swim bladder infection? You could try feeding him some peas. If he won't eat them, you can cover them in garlic juice. That should make them seem tastier, and he might eat them.
Good luck!

try everything you can.this an emergency.he is going to die if you don't help. I had a betta when I was a little younger. before he died of stress from boredom and squeezed tank he looked like your fish

Deanasue is right he doesn’t look good :/ If the tank is newly set up it could have been ammonia or nitrites. These are toxic to fish !! Moony42 is also correct maybe the fish been trapped :(:(:(
