Hi I am still rather new, but raised fish before. I just have a question regarding baby Bettas. I currently have 3 baby/juvenile female Bettas:
Luna- white with red fins measures a little less than an inch; I’ve had her for about 3 months
Jaws- brownish reddish, measures a little less than an inch. I’ve had her for about 3 months.
Bubbles- white with turquoise fins, measures 1/2 an inch; I bought her 2 days ago because she was the tiniest and is missing part of her tail.
Sooo, I kept Luna and Jaws in separate tanks next to each other for about a month. Then I put both of them in a cycled 5.5 gallon tank which is their current home. At first it looked like they were “sniffing” each other but no pecking or fighting. Awesome!
Question: I will be transferring Luna and Jaws to a 10 gallon in about a week (when tank is done cycling). I would like to add Bubbles but I’m concerned because she is still tiny and sickly; currently in a 1.5 gallon tank next to Luna and Jaws. Would it be ok to add her to the 10 gallon first, then Luna and Jaws?
