Three year old black moor. The left eye is normal but the right eye has some unusual tissue on the upper eyelid. It’s been like that for a year at least, probably longer. No blood and have treated the water repeatedly with antibiotics. The fish doesn’t seem to be bothered by it and is otherwise healthy. Looking for input as to the problem and if any recommended treatments.

It could be an old injury that healed over like that. If it’s been a year I doubt anything could be done anyway. He looks fine.

The fish has a bit of wrinkly skin on the top of the eye and this is probably scar tissue. And it has white patching on top of its head, which is probably excess mucous caused by poor water quality. Make sure you do regular water changes, gravel cleaning and filter maintenance. Keep the pH above 7.0 and general hardness (GH) above 150ppm.
Try doing a 75% water change and gravel clean each day for a week and see how the white looks after that. Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it is added to the tank.
