Currently have 5 glo tetras in a 10 gallon tank. Ive had the tank for a year and a half. Water levels are fine, I noticed my yellow one is extremely bloated, the others are fine. Any advice on how to fix this? He eats and swims normally.

can you post some normal pictures without blue light above the tank? the luminescence is messing the pictures up.

how long has the fish been fat for?
did the fish suddenly get fat overnight or within a few hours, or did it gradually get fat over a few weeks to a month?

If the fish got fat slowly over a few weeks, and it is still eating normally, then it is probably a female with eggs. If you have males and plants in the tank, they might spawn by themselves. :)

Yes I’ll post some pictures. I don’t have any live plants. I can’t tell the difference between the male and females tetras they all look so similar to me. It was gradual, he had a little belly I thought it could be from him eating too much because he tries to be the dominant one in the tank but now it looks like he’s gotten bigger.

If you look at the dorsal (top) fin on the front yellow fish in the following link, the dorsal fin is more pointed. This is a male fish.

Whereas the fish in the next link has a shorter dorsal fin that is not pointed. This fish is female.

Well fed and cared for fish will get fat and females will develop eggs. Female fish are bigger than males and usually eat more. If the male is fat and eating well I wouldn't worry too much. However, if the fish continues to get fatter and looks huge and deformed in a few months time, then it could have a tumour. But as long as it keeps eating and swimming around normally, I wouldn't worry too much.

That’s the same fish I just got a closer photo on the second one. I only have one yellow, orange, red, pink and purple.
