My betta has brown spots wtf

iv had my betta boy for months now and I love him so much but over the past few days his gotten spots on his head these brown ones I have no clue why is whatever is clean and so is his tank I checked all the levels and it’s all how it should be! I’m so confused please help what should I use to get rid of it! Plus what even is it I’ll post a photo in a second I’m really scared also his loosing colour at the bottom of his fins and they are going sorta red he has a bright red beard so ignore that part! Someone please help me I’m really worried

Which is all okay acorgining to the results thing to compare it too it’s the api 5 in 1
 
it looks like scar tissue or a recent wound. He might have got caught in something and panicked and scratched his face/ head.
 
Lots and lots of clean water is the best healer for bettas. Partial water changes every day until he's looking better. It might leave a scar, but you'll be able to tell the difference between a scar and the current wound.

Look for things in the tank that might be sharp. That purple plastic plant I see in the background might be too pointy. Take anything questionable out of the tank, and test if it's safe for a betta, by sliding some pantyhose across it. If it snags the pantyhose then it's too sharp/pointy and could injure your betta.

Looks like you have him in a proper tank with a filter and heater. Good! I can see that you've given him a nice home.

I also noticed you have one of those "sunken barrel" pieces of decor I see at petsmart a lot. These pieces tend to have openings for fish to swim through. I've handled these pieces myself and ran my finger along their inner surface and have often found they have sharp, often pointy imperfections inside. Perhaps you should examine your piece for the same thing.

Thank you so much for your help! I’ll do partial water changes everyday and check is decorations! Thank you I did so much research before getting him

If you do find sharp edges on plastic plants or ornaments, use some fine sand paper to smooth them off, then rinse well and put back in the tank. :)
