Hello
I have been struggling for 5 weeks to save my Betta. He has a lump inside one of his gills that doesn't allow him to close that gill and its making gasp for air. He is not eating, I was able to feed him a dry bloodworm a few days ago with tweezers. He is at the bottom of the tank and come up to gasp for air. He used to have something sort of clouding his eyes but that seems to have gone away. I treated him first with General Cure and didnt help. The 2 rounds of KanaPlex. it seemed a help a bit with his eyes as he now seems like he can see.I changed 25% to 50% of his water every 2 days or so. I also put an Indian almond leave 2 days ago. His water parameters are normal. The tank temperature is 78F.
He is not eating. I keep him in a little hospital tank. Not sure what else to do for him. Attached is the most recent pic of him, a close up of his gill. The lump is inside and moves when he breaths, its a dark lump.
Can someone please help. Thank you!

I understand your betta has a lump in its gill but I also see pineconing. This could mean that your fish has dropsy. It's normally associated with organ failure and the fish are rarely curable.

Could someone correct me if im wrong?
