Temptations...help! Lol

Peppered Cory cats at petsmart for $2 with petperks! I have an empty ten right now set up...they would go in the 55 when it's up....at least 7 that I could count in tank....yay or nay???

Remind me why I don't go look at the fish anymore? Lol. I was tempted...got 8 peppered cories! $2 a piece!

Just make sure you watch them closely, the petsmart in my town always has dead corydora and pleco's in their tanks.

Yeah I bought 12 neons during the 1$ sale and they all died.I only get fish from Petco at this point as they are the only store I haven't had fish die from.

I've only ever bought two fish from petco, my rescued betta and my rescued angel. They had him in a tank of danios that we're nipping him to death and my betta had a major case of finrot in a filthy cup. I do go there to buy food and the tubed plants though as they are much better priced than petsmart.

Really?My Petco has them in a tank by theirselves.Must be one of those things that differs from area to area.

Petsmart is all I have unfortunately. I actually didn't plan to get these there at all. They are almost always out. I planned on getting them online. Lol. But they were there and being cute.

I will watch them closely as I did leave one that was almost dead. Poor thing. It was floating. I did get one that might be a bit weak I thought at first but seems to be OK now. They will be in this tank by themselves for a while. They seem to love it. Lol.

I wish I had a petCo around but I don't unfortunately. And I won't go to these other petshops because they "sell" dogs. I'm in Missouri so it's a good chance they are from puppy mills even if they say they aren't. So I will go to petsmart since they at least adopt out and work with rescue groups.

As for the fish, I've had great luck and bad luck. Hopefully this will be good. Lol. They get their shipments in on Fridays so hopefully since they've been there since then that they will be ok. The one that was dying looked very skinny and sunken in so I'm not sure how well they were being fed. And they were on gravel. But I have sand in my tank and they went absolutely wild when they got in there so I'm hoping that's a good sign! And I thought the sand was actually clean...until they started stirring it up! Wow....lol. cute little things though!

Just a little update. I did end up losing one. Probably the weak one I noticed. Hopefully everybody else will be fine though! The rest are doing their little Cory things. Lol
