I need help. I have a young green terror who has developed a bend in his tail. It resembles an s shape. Has anyone experienced this before in similar cichlids. Could this be fish tuberculosis? He is the only fish in the tank that has this, currently moved to a tank by himself. Any help would be appreciated.

Difficult question. And most likely impossible to answer without close examination and a TB test.

The only thing which is for sure, no matter what the cause is, there is no cure. :(

How many fish are there? Did you observe it develop? Was the fish normal before?

If it were TB it should also show in the appearance of the fish. They somehow waste away over time.

Thank you for the reply. He was in a 130 gallon tank with a group of 6 Giant Danios, 8 Tiger Barbs, RT Shark, Red Spotted Severum, Galaxy, and Red Tail Leopard Plecos. This was just a temporary home while he was growing. I noticed it after coming back from about a month work trip did not notice it before I left. Tank was looked after by a friend while I was gone.
