Hello! I was observing my Platies during their feeding tonight and noticed that a few of them looked fat!!! I will attach a few photos for yall. I have no idea how to tell if they are pregnant... maybe they are just bloated or fat. The one with the biggest belly likes to hide in my pirate ship until it's feeding time. I don't think they are bloated because they are all pooping atm. And I don't think they are fat... I feed them bloodworms on sundays, algae wafers and cucumbers on saturdays, and flake food Tuesday-Friday. I do not feed on mondays. I feed them once a day, and they eat all the flakes I give them in 1 minute.

Can y'all help??

It' safe to assume that all female livebearers are pregnant, all the time. They even store 'packets' of sperm, so they can continue getting pregnant, even if there are no males in the tank.

You don't need to do anything special though; just make sure the water is good and there are plenty of hiding places for the fry, if you want some to survive; live plants are best.
