New platy, oddly colored maybe velvet?

I got a new platy for my LFS had him for a couple days now and first two days he was fine except for the fact that my other male platy was chasing and bullying him so he hid alot, removed bully platy now i see him up close and notice hes black but shiny gold on some of his scales wondering if its velvet ive seen him flick against plants too.

That's usual coloration nothing to worry about

Somebody else reply please i dont think its just coloration hes flicking against plants and rubbing against other fish
