Hi Sorrell :)

Brody is just beautiful! Why don't you tell us a bit about him? :D

Thanks Inchworm! Can do, he's my dressage horse, 10 years old, sorrel (thats where my name comes from :p except I hit "L" twice  ) I bought him last summer after being away from horses for awhile when I had my kids and he's turned out to be a really nice horse

Hi Sorrell :)

Well, I tried but I can't resist nominating him for POTM!

I'm sure you'll get a second for the third picture.

I'll second it! :D i have always loved horseys. How much did it cost?

P.T.

I will third'd the nomination.

I have got to say...I love horse racing. I keep telling my dad that I want to be a jockey and that I have the perfect build for it. This usually strikes up a few good laughs because, well, I have never ridden a horse before. But I have got to say, jockeying looks like loads of fun.

That is a really nice lookin horse, a little to old to race ;) but still looks great.
I wish I had room to own a horse, once again even though I haven't ridden before. Best of Luck with him and POTM! :kewlpics:

Very nice! My dream is move out to the southwest and own a ranch with at least 3 or 4 horses!

Your so lucky to have him! If his nomination wasn't already tripled i would defiantely have nominated him!

What a beaut! I love chestnuts almost as much as I love blood bays! With a butt like that, that boy should be jumping! What are you doing keeping him in the stuffy ol' world of dressage?

 @ cation! He does have a lovely butt... :flex: I say just be glad she's not in the even more stuffy world of western pleasure anymore... woulda been such a waste of that beautiful hiney.

You guys crack me up. Trust me, a nice butt is used much more in dressage then it is in jumping. The power a dressage horse needs comes all from behind.

Ahhh, Western Pleasure. Fell into it on accident really. We bought a horse who had a jog that you would die for, couldn't waste it. But I also had my hunter/jumpers too.

edit...I was going to edit, but I forgot why... :S

Hi Sorrell :)

This might seem like a dumb question, but would you please explain what "dressage" means? :dunno: I've seen it before, but still don't have a clue. :*)

Hmmm...don't know about that, all the best jumpers I ever showed had niiiccccee butts. Powerful hinds, too. But then I'm awfully biased - although I recognize the importance of dressage, I never could stand it. I was always forced by my instructors to enter, even won a ribbon or two in my first coupla shows, but I just couldn't stand it. I enjoy watching dressage, but not the doing. Of course, my dream was to be a steeplechaser (which didn't pan out) so that should tell you something....
