it's spreading in my tank too but in mine it's between the sand and the front of the glass - I can just see a long line of green right along the front bottom of the tank. It's annoying me but because it's below the substrate line getting rid of it is nigh on impossible

I have an outbreak in the eel tank currently, frustrating as all devils!

I think i am going to have to resort to chemicals to eradicate it and i am reluctant to do so because i am unsure if the eel will cope

probably a silly question but have you tried a complete black out Alasse?

I too had been down all routes.had it in my display tank and fought and won but this was ridiculous in my 70 litre.it's great stuff.

I think its actually a lack of light that is causing the issue....

I think i will first look at getting some lighting over the tank.....

I may even pull the tank down and vinegar everything, then put back together. Hopefully that with some lighting will help alleviate the problem. Worst comes to worst i can hit it with antibiotics!

I'm still fighting this in my shrimp tank.  I was beating it and then a couple of days with slightly higher light levels and it was back with a vengeance.

I have the stuff Munroco recommended so i'll be giving that a go.  Got it in my Betta tank too, it was crawling across the substrate so I've pulled it all out with long tweezers but it is still below the substrate.  Looks like I'll be dosing two tanks.
