I found a crowntail in the UK!!!

YEAH!! I found a crowntail! They are like gold dust here in the uk! He's so awesome...he is a metallic green betta but when I turn the aquarium lights on he turns blue!?? kinda annoying bcause he looks stunning in green....I will post some pics later after he has settled down.

P.S I got them from the goldfish bowl in Oxford (GREAT shop)

how much was he and did the people know he was a CT?
 
He was £7 and they knew he was a crowntail they had about 10 crowntails....really hard choice. They also had some bettas labled as halfmoons, but they didnt look like halfmoons to me...?? Its worth a trip cause they have crowntails!!! They keep them in quite a small tank but hell he's in an 8 gallon know and he thinks he's in heaven!! These are pics of him with my crap cam..my bro's has no battery and I don't know where his charger is so have to wait for good pics!

now you have told everyone on here we will go to oxford lol
 
They dont sell female CT otherwise I would of snapped them up!! I am going back soon to get the other CT I wanted to get...It was like a white purple pastel colour and it looked awesome :wub: :wub:

Lets hope no 1 steals it b4 I get there!!

im gunna pop over there on saturday and see what they have.
so what other colour CT did they have?
 
Yer they have normal females in a large bowl...but they weren't very breath taking to b honest. The other CT's were mostly red or blue with lots of mixes of reds and blues if you understand!! The halfmoons did not look like half moons but I just realised is a halfmoon's tail only a half moon when it flares? cause these ones had there tails resting and they wernt halfmoon? :fun:
