Can anyone tell me what kind of snail this hitchiker is?

Afriad the pic is a little blurry and unclear.
 
Am assuming we're viewing this from the bottom of the snail, or its footprint?
 
Difficult to tell but from the shape of the footprint, it looks more likely to be one of the common snails.
 
I checked another thread.seems to be be small ramshorns charlie.will the eat plants?
 
I cannot see a snail in the photo...but if it is a common ramshorn, these are said to not eat healthy plants but some aquarists have reported they sometimes do.  The large species (having the same shape but much larger) will eat plants, we had a thread on this a few days ago.
 
I'll attach photos of the common snails; if you hold your mouse over the photo or open it, the name of the snail will appear.

Thanks.i think this is it.small white rams horn.i can only see two but I am sure this will increase soon.must of come in with my Java moss.

The only ramshorns I've had bother with eating my plants are the giant ones!!

I've kept small red ramshorns in my tank for the last 12 months and have never had any problems with them. (Like the red ones in the photo byron has posted)

They will eat dead and decaying leaves on your plants but not healthy ones. And are fab alge eaters. :)
