Afriad the pic is a little blurry and unclear.
Am assuming we're viewing this from the bottom of the snail, or its footprint?
Difficult to tell but from the shape of the footprint, it looks more likely to be one of the common snails.

Ah, Ramshorn snail. Hard to tell from the pic.

I cannot see a snail in the photo...but if it is a common ramshorn, these are said to not eat healthy plants but some aquarists have reported they sometimes do. The large species (having the same shape but much larger) will eat plants, we had a thread on this a few days ago.
I'll attach photos of the common snails; if you hold your mouse over the photo or open it, the name of the snail will appear.

The only ramshorns I've had bother with eating my plants are the giant ones!!
I've kept small red ramshorns in my tank for the last 12 months and have never had any problems with them. (Like the red ones in the photo byron has posted)
They will eat dead and decaying leaves on your plants but not healthy ones. And are fab alge eaters.
