Does anyone know my fish breed? I adopted this pair and am a little lost on what they are...

These guys are large, approx 22cm, and have dramatically coloured up since being in my tank. I have searched the internet to match but have come up blank , now really curious how they breed because they have been acting really funny around one another .

Thanks! I googled and I think they look closer to the Turquoise Severums (rounder face and colours more closer).

Just to mention, you are referring to a 'species', not a breed.
All dogs are the same species, but have been selectively bred to determine a 'breed'. But the fish are by and large (with the exception of some selectively bred livebearers, and perhaps a few others I'm not recalling at the moment) different species, with completely different water parameter needs, tankmates, territorial definition, etc.

Severum for sure but I havent seen one with as vivid stripes as that before.
