Here is my 75 gallon tank.

Right now it is stocked with:
3 german blue rams (I originally had purchased 4 but one died :( Two of which have paired up and the third is a female)
1 honey gourami
1 gold gourami
1 red tail shark
7 swordtails
2 angels

I really would like to add some more fish but was wondering if my tank is already fully stocked or would I be able to add a couple more rams?

I feel bad for the lonely female ram. The other two have formed a pair and occasionally I see them fight but there are a lot of places to hide and get away so it never becomes a big deal.

What do you think?

You could have two pairs, It's getting pairs thats a pain. If they don't pair up like what's happen to you they'll kill the others, So it's worth having a look around to see if you can spot pairs, Maybe trading up the lone female for them.

yeah that was what I was thinking but I am not sure I have ever seen any pairs in my LFS. They just always look so stressed and washed out. Plus it is a pain to catch that little female ram haha.

Haha yea, I have two german blues that seem to have paired up. Maybe not but I believe they have. :p

First, your aquarium is beautiful. I love the way it looks. Your angels are pretty, too!

Second, while I don't have them in my possession yet, I have done a lot of reading on GBRs, and it seems as though even unpaired rams get along. Regardless, if you want to find a fourth, I believe you have plenty of room in your stocking plan.

Digression: have your rams bred?

I originally picked out 4 german blue rams to take home with me it seemed like immediately the largest and the smallest always hung together and the other two hid a lot. Now the smallest female and the largest male still always swim right with each other wherever they go. I haven't seen my male a lot today has he has been protecting an area with rocks. I'm not sure if they may have eggs back there or not. I saw my female clearing off a space on a flat stone and her belly was super super pink and I think they were preparing but I'm not sure. I haven't witnessed any eggs or fry but then again I have two angels who love eggs and fry. :p haha

One of my angels have laid eggs on my filter in the past month. The angels were actually given to me. They were in like a 30 gallon octagon tank before so I took them and put them in my 75 gallon. Not sure if they are a pair but they swim together all the time and one of them laid eggs but the next day they were all gone. Not sure what happened.

Yeah I've never really seen my rams being overly aggressive or aggressive out of nowhere towards the lonely female.

Sometimes she will swim near their "territory" and they will both chase her off and try to nip at her but she is fast and she knows where to hide. Then once she swims far enough away, they leave her alone. They all eat together without attacking or anything like that. I always see the other female swim to the male and her belly instantly gets pink and her colors get bright like she is trying to display for the male? But the male chases her away and so does the other female.

They are cool to watch. :)

Lovely tank. Would be cool if you could get another male & by chance they pair up. But really nice tank.

That is what I want haha. But I'm not sure it will happen. We had another male in there and the female didn't pair up with him and he ended up dying. :(

Raechal, I must tell you that when I was starting to get into this hobby last year in June, I stumbled across this picture of your tank in google images.  I saved the picture on my computer as a personal goal for what I wanted my next tank to be, since your tank is so beautiful!  I just stumbled across the picture again online, and thought I would give my thanks for the great inspiration.  I started with a 20 gallon and kept it basic for my 4 year old daughter to enjoy, but am now ready for the next step.  I really want the natural look that you and many others have achieved.  To me, that is what the hobby is all about.  Creating a realistic, beautiful, and peaceful aquascape.

I just got my 55 gallon long tank, and am cycling it with a few fish, and have boiled a few pieces of driftwood and am waterlogging them now.  The tank i got already had sand in it and I am really enjoying it, after using gravel in my other.  It just looks so much more natural to me.  Anyway, I wanted to ask you a couple questions if you dont mind me picking your brain.  Im really getting into this hobby, so reaching out to people I think can help me. :)

#1 -Did you use a substrate for your plants or did you just plant them in the sand?

#2 - Can you recommend some plants for me to use?  I dont know a thing about aquatic plants, but I really want to learn more about them, and where to get them.

#3 - Is that a foam background in your tank or just a picture? It looks great, and if it is foam, where could I get something like that?

Thank you again for the inspiration and any advice you can give me!

As this is an old thread you may not get an answer. The background (I think) is a juwel 3d cackground https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=juwel+3d+background&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=rHivVMXDEYG9UPCYhIgN#q=juwel+3d+background&tbm=shop

What I use in planted tanks is a layer of garden compost. I get some old tights (pantihose to you) and cut the legs off, fill them with compost and tie them off and layer them on the bottom of the tank, then put a layer of sand over them. That way you dont get bits floating all over the place when you plant stuff. The compost I use is John Innes number 3. I don't know what the equivalent in the US would be. At first the water will be a bit stained but it will clear up soon enough and it doesn't look bad. Some people prefer darker water. I'd get yourself a cheap deal on ebay for plants. ie 100 plants for £20 and see what grows for you.

This is my tank, the only plants I didn't get in the bundle are the water lettuce on top left. I've managed to plant another (3ft) tank with the plants I've thinned out
