So yesterday I noticed my blue ram had some wierd growths on it and I am not sure what they are as have had no problems since I got the fish a few months ago, he is eating fine and swimming around coming to the front for food when I am near so abit unsure , I started a course of Myaxin yesterday as it looks bacterial along with a 30% water change before adding the new dose, and ideas what it is? Best pics I can get with ipad and the look a lot better quality before they are uploaded to here.
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate to unreliable to bother testing

I cannot be 100% positive from the pictures but it looks like the viral infection Lymphocystis, some info here..

It is not curable but it is controlable with exceptionally clean water to prevent further infection (bacterial and fungal) it is usually only species specific so any other fish in the tank should be fine, it will only affect the ram. It is not usually fatal unless lumps form internally or in the mouth.

Well alll the water changes do not appear to be working as looked in when the light came on and the fish now looks like this compared to still looking like the pics above when I posted this.
