Earthworms In My Tank?!?!?!

So I seen this guy pressed against the glass today in the gravel and have no idea what it is, or what I should do about it, let alone where it even came from.  It is defiantly alive, and to me looking like a little earthworm.  So any advice would be awesome, as I did not intentionally put this in my tank (I did buy a bit of live plants that also come with the added gift of a pond snail outbreak....)

Hi, yes it does look like an earthworm, must have come in on the plants or fallen in the tank some how? just fish it out and place it in some earth outside it will drown soon and pollute the tank otherwise.
