Maybe by a little bit, but she definitely shows off her fins more now. In the picture you can see her tail isn't totally fanned out, but now it almost always is.
Two new residents, Ginger and Ale the African Dwarf Frogs. They get along really well with my betta, there have been no conflicts. Rainbow will sometimes go and see what they are up to but usually they all just go about and do their own thing. Ginger, (the larger of the two), is more timid but seems to be adventuring out of hiding more often then before. Where as Ale (the smaller one) explores the tank a lot and searches for food.
I still want to get 6 pygmy cories. I was at big als today and one of the guys there said that they might be getting some in not this Monday but the following. So, fingers crossed that they do get them.
I also did a 50% water change today, the water parameters were:
Ammonia : .25ppm (I'll check this again in the morning)
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 5ppm
That's it from me, I'll post again if something interesting happens
Thanks! I'm really enjoying having them, they are so interesting.

Oh and a quick update...I really have no idea any more if I'm going to add in catfish, I feel like 6 more fish will just make it look too crowded for my taste. I might add some other fish or a snail but I haven't decided yet, still looking into that. Also, I think I was misreading the ammonia levels, I checked it again this morning and it still looked like .25ppm, but then I tested my tap water and it was the same colour. So I think everything is as it should be .
Yesterday I brought home a small mystery Snail I have named Atlas. I introduced him to my tank only to have Rainbow decide she wanted him as her next meal (taking 2/3 of a feeler with her). So, I went out a bought a new tank, it is the Tetra Complete LED Aquarium 5. I think I will plant this one as well and move Atlas as well as a some red cherry shrimp into it when it is through cycling. I suppose I'll need to start a new journal for that one too haha.
Just wanted to update this topic, and say that Ale, one of my African Dwarf Frog passed away Monday. I'll definetly miss the little guy, he was so interesting to watch and such a cutey.
