I thought I'd share some pics of my little side project. I wanted to see which plants were easy to grow emerged so I experimented with a few different samples of plants from my tanks to see what would happen.
The left side of the propagator is mostly devoted to monoselenium tenerum and the right side is a medley of different stems.
Most of the plants are thriving, the only one I'm having problems with so far is dwarf saggitaria.
Three weeks after planting:
With lid on:
Staurogyne repens loving the fresh air!
Lindernia rotundifolia which has been pathetically struggling in all my tanks, doing beautifully emersed!
Bacopa australis creeping and staying low instead of reaching up for the surface as it does in my tanks:

Eleocharis acicularis sending out runners very quickly:
