Hey, I am a newbie, And I am tricia.
I am a guinea pig fanatic. I only have two tho.. I want way more!
Anyways, I am wondering who all else loves them?
Cavy Cages<<< that site is a great site for all GP care. Not really much point to this post, :dunno: But oh well.. A good way to meet people! :p
Cya'll later..Tricia

those cages are lovely
i keep mine in a cage
he's trained like a dog
he's the love of my life
the vets have never seen such a healthy piggy
although i'm a little restricted on space
his cage is the standard small piggy cage
but he only sleeps eats and goes to the washroom in it
he's out alot and he is VERY happy
:kana:

Cheese specialist- Cages are for people who dont have much room. I have a C&C cage, But I would do free range if I could. At least C&C's are better than pet store cages! Pet store cages would be like us living in a closet.. Anyways, Could people post pics of their Guinea pigs? thanks.. I am obessed, I know :hyper:

Ok, I simply said I don't agree with it.  I am fully aware that others do.
Sorry, just read thst back and noticed I was a bit off.

Didn't mean it. :*
cheese your great
my little tree hugger   :p (jk)

i would do a large hutch
but not free range
in my house i have too many free range critters and my guinea pig is much too fragile
in my bedroom he goes free and is littler trained
but he is always under supervision (they're like babies)
he's very tolerant of other animals but too much and my dog and cat without supervision would make a quick snack out of him
i would never keep him outside free range
even in a chicken fenced yard
too many natural preditors around here (dogs, cats, cayote, raccoons, possums, large birds, and neighbour children  )

i want to build him a large hutch but i am parinoid of bees and some of our semi-poisonous spiders
they may not be deadly to us but even a non poisonous spider can leave a big impact, like infection, to such a tiny body
