Well can you get a pic of him? i just really dont want to have him get meds that only are detrimental, and you can treat ich with high temps, and BGK are pretty tolerant of low amounts of salt as well.

I'm trying so hard to save him, I don't know what else to do other then placing him in my quarantine tank and half dosing ich medicine.. Well here's the pics I could get.

That doesnt really look like ich more like multiple small scratches, but its hard to tell from the pics.

Im not sure what else you could do, im afraid medicating would just make it harder to save him, but if your desperate you could try, i wouldnt though.

Your ammonia and nitrites are 0 right?

Did you try hand feeding?

Yes I did, and he's too scared to eat from my hand. I know they look like small scratches, but once you look harder you can see white puffs on them. I think I'll leave him be for a bit longer until deciding to medicate him.

Does it look more like cotton or grains of sand?

I'm not sure what it was, but he's all better now. He is hiding during the light, and swimming and eating when I feed. It seems like after I added that one decoration and performed the water change, he got better. Thank you all for your help!

Well that's good news. Just keep an eye on the wound to make sure it doesn't get infected.
