I got this fish t my LFS an the lady said it was a leopard cichlid witch is rare maybe to her shop I don't know but when ever I look up a video on YouTube to see its behaviour as it mature I get only gouramis would anyone know the scientific name for it

It's kind of hard to tell what it is.  My guess is that it's a Nimbochromis Venustus or a Haplochromis Livingstoni.  If it has yellow on it's dorsal fin than it's a venustus.
 
it's actually really hard too tell even with it in my tank cause looking at some pictures google of the livingstonii an a few pics show that the both have I slight bit of yellow on the dorsal maybe ill just have too wait till its a adultcause it says the livingstonii turns blue during mating
