Sick Oranda

Hi all,

My 14 year old oranda (bubbles) has a lump on its side... It can swim fine but when he is stationary he floats to the top and the lump sticks out the water..

The lump has red on it...

I have used melafix and the redness went away... After a few days of not using melafix the redness has returned...

He is in a 130 litre tank
Fluval u3 filter

Ammonia : 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate 8

Any suggestions? Should I use melafix again but for a full 7 days ?

I have tried peas incase it was swim bladder

You should use the medication for the amount of time it says on the directions. Hope he gets better :c

check different vets in your area, sometimes they will treat large goldfish such as orandas
