My Peacock Gudgeon Is Sick

So recently I've lost nearly all of my tetras to what I believe was neon tetra disease. I thought it was over since I hadn't lost any fish in about a week and a half.
 
Now my female peacock gudgeon is looking under the weather. She is hanging out at the bottom and has white all around her mouth and is very pale. Here is a picture.

Anyone have an idea what this may be? Could it be neon tetra disease as well?
 
If you could answer these questions that may help someone figure out why this is happening.
 
1. Water parameters. (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, PH, temp', Hardness etc)
2. A full description of the fishes symptoms.
3. How often you do water changes and how much.
4. Any chemicals and treatments you add to the water.
5. What tank mates are in the tank.
6. Tank size.
7. Finally Have you recently added any new fish?
 
Am not very knowledgeable of fish diseases so hopefully someone with more experience will be along soon. Just wanted you to be able to answer that so the experienced members don't have to ask for that info. :)
 
Sorry, normally I do add all of this info. Just forgot this time.
 
55 gallon.
 
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 60 ppm
pH: 7.6
 
I do a 25% water change once a week.
 
I just started a anti-bacterial natural treatment.
 
Just died this morning

So I have no idea. Symptom shows up then she died less than a day later.
 
Oh no! I'm sorry I wasn't sure what was wrong other than the nitrates :-( I think even if we knew and you had medicated it might've been too late.

Thankfully I still have about 30-40 of her fry in a breeding tank. So hopefully they'll survive!
 
Aaaawwwh! Grats on the fry! Be sure to post pics of them growing up :wub:
My peacock gudgeons have tried a few times but no fry came of it :C
 
This is about 2 days after they became free-swimming so about 2 weeks ago:

Have you tried using pvc pipe as "caves" for them to breed in? I just transferred my male and and all of the eggs in the pipe to the breeding tank then took the male out once they were free swimming.
 
They're so cute! You should start a journal for them ^_^
 
Ah I'm not trying to get my peacock gudgeons to breed. I just think it'd be neat if they did. There is no room in the tank to add pvc I don't think :lol:
 
Ah fair enough. You just need a couple short pieces of 1/2" pvc, maybe about 3" long. Maybe I will.
