Wiring New Ballast

Hi everyone!
 
Im new to this forum and wonder if anyone can help with wiring my new ballast, as the wire diagram is different to the original ballast!
 
The original is from a juwel light 2x18w.

Hi, the wiring diagrams look the same to me, so I would wire them the same way. i.e.:
old>new
1>14
2>13
3>12
4>11
5>10
6>9
 
I can't see the rest of the writing on the ballast, but I do recommend that you check that they have the same W specified.

Yep, spot on.
 
As long as the ballast ratings are the same, then all should be well.
 
Just ensure that all of the connections are sound before powering up.

Pictures are a bit small to view on my iphone, but if they are the wrong rating the chances are they simply won't work, if they are 'close' they will but won't last long.
I'm an industrial sparky of 22 years so have wired the odd one lol.
If you have no joy reply and I'll look at them on my laptop.
