I can't enter this fish in the FOTM competition just yet, as I'm still new to the forum. However, I would like to find out this fish's potential, does he have a chance of winning FOTM? He is a male kribensis, and has not been fed any color enhancing foods or other color enhancing products, though feeding him these probably wouldn't hurt. On a scale of 1 to 10, what do you think of him? Also, any previous winners of FOTM, any advice?

I would say a definite yes. About a 7-8/10.
But not with that picture. It's all blurred. Mostly it's the crystal clear HD pics that take home the turkey.

i would say 7. he IS a nice looking fish, though you could do with a better picture

Yup agree wth the others about a 7. a brighter and clearer picture could make it though

What type of kribensis is that Cory fever. They look so much more colourful and red than mine from Tom

I'm not entirely sure, when I purchased it the label said "Kribensis." I did a little searching in the internet and I realized that my Kribensis did not have the 3 spots on its tail. Now I'm just as confused as you. I'll call my LFS and see if I can get an answer for you. Who knows? It may just be a variant of Pelvicachromis pulcher...
