Can anyone give an estimate on how far gone my guppy is based on the pics? I've read other posts but would just like some opinions.

She's not very far along yet (although it is hard to be 100% certain, especially if she is a young female).

I would say she has at least a week to go, maybe as much as two.

She will give birth when she is ready really that's all anyone can say.

Lol, yes, very true!

The best way to deal with pregnant livebearers is to give them good food, clean water, plenty of plant growth (as hiding places for the fry) and letting them get on with it :)

I'm going to put her in a breeding trap when she's ready

She (and the fry) would be far, far better off left in the main tank. Breeding traps are too small for the females to feel secure which leads to stress, which can cause them to abort their fry, or succumb to stress related diseases, like fungus and whitespot, and they're also too small for the fry to grow properly, leading to stunted fish.

I know it might sound harsh, but you cannot keep every single fry if you have livebearers; unless you have a large amount of spare tanks for growing on, you'll just end up with masses of stunted, unwanted fish.

Your tank looks like it has plenty of plant cover, so some fry (hopefully an manageable amount) will survive.

I might just leave her in the tank then, I'd be happy if just one survives :p
