What are your water parameters? Some pictures of your fish would be helpful.

Well if your neon tetras are restlesness and are starting to loose its color it might be "neon tetra disease. There really is no known cure for it but see if you can remove the affected looking fish in a hopsital tank and make sure they dont get worse. Just maks sure to do frequent water changes. And the fish witj the split tail if it doesnt show any signs of disease or fungus it might of just hit its tail on something and it will heal back

I have a community tank if neon disease is it specifically tetras could it go to my platties or corries

Should I remove the individual shown

Thanks

It is best to remove the affected fish and quarantine them too keep an eye on them. Removing them also ensures that should one of them die, the others won't eat the dead fish's flesh, which is how NTD spreads. NTD can also affect other species of fish, mostly other species of tetras though, if I remember it right.

Lots of water changes may help the sick fish if it is not NTD, and only medicate once you have diagnosed them either for fungus or bacterial infection.

Neon Tetra Disease article

You should know if its NTD quickly... they usually die within days (2 or 3) after symptoms start.

Quarantine is the best way as NTD does spread through eating the dead fish.  Best to not take a chance.  Isolate that fish (and any others showing similar signs) and then treat it with good, clean water and perhaps an anti-bacterial med as well, JIC.

Could be NTD (defo looks like it) , but also false NTD (= Columnarisbacteria). In both cases I agree with the others !

Died this morning, I've also noticed another has gone the same an has a white colour over 1 gill

Is it Deffinatley ntd

If so would that effect platties or corries

It may, but you can keep the risk lowest by taking out the sick fish!

Correct... Quarantine the fish.

If NTD I think you may have to euthanise your whole stock (at least the Tetra's). Really sorry !!!
