Meet Nile....

Unfortunately I had to rehome all my bettas long story cut They were all males which got along but uncertain for how long, I decided it be best to separate and rehome them! An empty tank and wishing I'd perhaps kept one I went to go restock my tank and well I found him and just had to get him!
Quite a good pic considering how shy he is!

Nice wee fella...that sure is one beady eye he's got there. Presumably there's another one round the other side, but you know what I mean.

Haha Yea it was the eyes that got me! He's a big boy and still young so thinking he may be a giant! Quite surprised at the size of him when I saw him! He was rather expensive but Deffo worth it!

I'm not sure! I did ask if he was a plaket or a young half moon but they were unsure! I think he's a plaket but time will tell if his tale grows any more or not!!!

He is a plakat, they are my faves! very feisty as they don't get bogged down by the flowing finnage of other varieties and don't suffer much from tail biting

Yea I find them somewhat more appealing myself!! I tell you when he moves it's like a rocket up his.. Yeah! The breeder said he was so expensive because they were imports from Thailand and you can really tell the whole difference in the quality of breed! It took me 15 minutes trying to net him out the tiny little bag what with the speed he swam round it and pushed past the net! Quite shy tho flips out at times and hides! He did come to the surface and I managed to feed him but when I put my hand up to wipe the glass a little he flipped out and dashed into hiding. Poor fellas probably been disturbed one to many times!

Thanks every one am rather pleased with my lil fella! Here's a pic of his setup! All 15 gals to himself! May get some Cory's! Debating embers some say yay some say nay! He's rather on the large side and I'd gather still growing so he'd probably easily fit one in his mouth!!

Thanks it's taken some time and money! Going for more coverage on the left with live plants but there still small!! Definitely make a difference considering he was in one of those tiny square tanks when I bought him!!
