True Sae Or Fake?

I was talking to the guy at the LFS and he knew what he was talking about (or so I thought) about the differences between the real and fake ones so I let him grab be a SAE and I didn't check it out...having just put the bag in my tank to acclimate him to the tank I noticed the stripe doesn't extend all the way back (even though there is a faint black there that is probably hard to tell by the picture).  I've attached a couple of pics.  Is this guy the real deal or fake?

id say the colorations to light to be a flying fox so im pretty sure thats a SAE.

Once I put him into the tank and got a better view the stripe goes back further than it looks in the photos.  Also I saw the guy going to town on my hair algae on my plants so I'm thinking it's a true SAE as well. 

Yes I would say that's a true SAE just needs to acclimate before you notice the colouring better
