Hi,
I'm setting up my first proper planted tank.
I've bought a variety of plants which I like from my LFS and made a DIY CO2 diffuser which really seems to be helping the plants.
Everything in the tank seems happy but I'm concerned that I am stunting the growth of my plants with rubbish lighting.
It's a 200 litre tank and I've got two 36" 30W standard fluorescent bulbs in there.
The tank is about 20" tall so I don't think it's the intensity of the light that's slowing things down, more the spectrum.
Could anyone advise how I could improve my lighting in the tank or even if I need to?
Thanks,
Noahh
