They are fantastic escape artists, so keep a very tight lid on your tank. They do like to have an area above the water too, I think this is how the problems arise with escape.

well I came down this morning and there was no problem I will keep my eye on him and if it all goes down hill I will sort something out, as for another tank

I read that these Crabs don't really thrive in Freshwater? How do they go with other fish, they don't try and eat them if they go to bottom of tank do they? Hope not!
