Not a great pic will try getting him forward and putting another.

I don't know what it is. I was told it dosnt get big!!

It does look like a 'plec', but there are, literally, hundreds of 'plec' species about

Agreed.

Probably Parancistrus aurantiacus. Should hit 8 or 9" in length; I don't know if you consider that 'too big' or not!

I would have as a asked for a ( sucker fish ) for a 55l tank . They ( lfs) said that it would only grow a few inches. As you can see I have a bigger than 55l tank now it's 190l so should be fine but that would have out grown the 55l right?
 
It'll out grow the 190 too in a few months/ years. Plecos grow fast. :nod:
 
definetly a pleco but as many has said a bigger tank is needed
i have experience having a pleco that is to big
