unidentified fish

This is a new aquisition of mine
defianatly a danio, but not sure which type
I suspect it's a hybrid of a zebra and ??
posibly a leopard as the colouration is close to them than a zebra
any ideas :dunno:

I was thinking a cross between a giant danio and some other danio but I don't know enough to know what kind :p
 
Looks just like a gold danio to me. :dunno: Perhaps it is, but by some freak of nature got a little more pigment so isn't completely albino.
 
I've had contact from an expert breeder and its a colour morph of the orange finned zebra Danio kyathit se my websie for a description :D

And while on the subject of danios, do you keep any malamar danios? I have only seen a picture of them in one place, but never seen them for sale.
 
Malabar danios are more commonly referd to as Gaint danios
Devario aequipinnatus. I have four of these guys they will get to about 15cm in lenght and are a very nice addition to any community with larger fish. I don't recomend them to be kept with smaller danio or fish as they may eat them. :D
