Is This Algae?

Is this Algae? I am currently cycling my tank, and I'm not sure what this is... I'm hoping it's algae, because I want to have a pleco....

From the picture, it looks just like a bunch of air bubbles that have collected on the ornament. Rub your finger along it and if it sort of dissolves then it is just some air bubbles but if its kinda sludgy then its probably algae, though I'm not sure what type it would be.

looks like a fungi to me maybe there was some organic matter an the statue :]x

I have a 1 foot long pleco and he keeps my 350 gallon aquarium absolutely CLEAN. I got him when he was about 3 inches long and almost 5 years later he is huge. Best investment I ever made for my aquarium! No algae, no bacterial growths, no food sitting on the bottom ever, he is great. He is very mellow too. Gets along well with all fish that I have had.
