Checked on the 2 pregnant girls. Still square. After a year of keeping guppies-I still can't judge properly!

Hows the wood coming along ladies?

I am off to dunelm for a look...

I am very proud of myself for walking away lol. There is a really nice rounded piece that looks like a cone but overall, they just had the same small pieces maybe about 4 inches long. No new stock but that's probably a good thing!

Hehe this could get addictive!

Well if you insist on an update... here's mine lol.  Look at the colour of that water after 15 hrs soak.  I have no idea how you could put these straight in the tank!

I love the colour! lol!

Another update, I can't seem to find my half black female in my tank

I hope she's ok and not stuck under something.

I find that nearly impossible to do sometimes! I'm getting better at it myself but for me it's corals.

Oh wow is that your thing? Corals are beautiful!

I still can't find this female. I am hoping she's birthing somewhere in a hiding place. I don't want to have to lift everything out the tank.

I had several planted tanks before getting into reef tanks so I have done both and still have a small planted but yes, my main thing is reef. I have a 210 gallon (795 liter) reef tank. This photo is from January.

I hope so too, I can't see where she could be :/

Thanks. I think that's why I love it so much, everything is living and there are so many hidden things. I like to sit in front of the tank at night with a flashlight and just look into the nooks. I found a crab last night I had never seen before. He had hitch hiked on a coral or piece of live rock. It was a species that was not harmful so I just left him to do his thing. That happens all the time. Only twice has it been something bad.

Aww! I love looking at marine tanks, the one at dobbies has seahorses in it. I love seahorses but I bet it's very stressful because isn't marine quite fragile? Everything has to be spot on. You must have the patience of a saint! I defo couldn't do it.

It does take some work for sure but it is incredibly satisfying.

The feeling of achievement must be great. Then the sitting back and watching it all. Then again sometimes it's the frustration that gets us through!

I started getting really worried about the female so I started lifting the wood and she was sitting at the back. She's fine and still pregnant. I think she was just having a break from the males. The yellow one seems to be quite annoying.
