What Fish Is This

I have had this fish a while now and I have to say, with some embarrasment, I dont know what iot is. Its an algae eater (obviously enough) and it begins with 'a' I think.

It's an otto could be wrong but I'm nearly certain

Looks like a nice fat Otocinclus . With the starting with A fish you may have been thinking of Ancistrus which is a Bristlenose catfish

Sweet. Thanks folks. Is he ok on his own? ( he shares with 3 white cloud mountain minnows and a male betta ) or is company required. Bearing in mind its only a 25 ltr tank?

Ideally they are a social fish, so maybe a friend of 1 or two can fit into the current tank. I was pleasantly surprised lastnight when catching shrimp to find 5 of my oto's still going strong in thier tank they share with 4 siamese fighters (female fighters so, dont worry about fights).

I know the fighter and the otocinclus will like warmer temps, I am pretty sure that white mountian cloud minnows prefer less tropical water temp tho.

This is true. I have it at 24 degrees and it seems to suit them.
