Hi,
I have decided to get an external filter for my Fluval Roma 125 aquarium after getting fed up of the internal it came with and after seeing the results an external gives.
My main concern is actually fitting the external in the cabinet that came with the tank as it's quite small (I've attached a picture which I know is the Juwel tank & cabinet but is very similar to mine and I couldn't find a picture of the Roma cabinet I have as they have changed the design twice)
Basically it has a centre partition which splits the interior in half, behind each door it's quite narrow plus not very deep. I would want to be able to close the door on the cabinet and I'd rather not have to change the cabinet unless there is no alternative.
I'd like to stick with Fluval after reading pretty decent reviews and they're not too expensive so i'm looking at the 206 or 306 if possible (I may be able to talk the missus into letting me have a bigger tank in the future) so basically i'm asking if any of you have this setup? Will those filters fit in my cabinet?
I know i'll have to do a bit of cutting to get the two tubes into the tank and found some good examples already on this forum so that's not a problem.
thanks in advance
Mike
