Looks great,What background did you use? Its always a great feeling when a new tank is set up, I bet you cant wait to add some fish. :kewlpics:

I just used a normal bluebackground which i think works really well....

thanks for ur reply !

as im going to be setting up a barb tankincluding silver sharks, what do u think would be ideal for there requirements ? so I've got a better idea of what im gonna add next to the tank.

looks like hes in an apartment or a dorm. His computer is next to it :)
i think thats a microwave  who cares, a tank is a tank no matter were it is... (dont quote me on this :p )

And WTF is it doing in your kitchen???????
i can hardly call it a kitchen lool, just a simple fridge, a microwave which im gonna move away from the tank, and a sink....he he it looks really good where i've put it i think, just a rubbish starter pic looly !

thanks for ur comments guys

Looks cool, are you putting anything else in or leaving space for the silver sharksn
I'll be trying to keep a good medium of barbs and silver sharks so i dont overcrowd them, as i've seen them pretty much at adult size and there big :)

Cheers guys

awsome tank

just needs some plants

Good stuff Dan,

The Worktop is plenty strong enough to hold the tank, we build em sturdy in England.

I suggest you move the microwave away from the tank even though I know you hardly use it no point taking the risks.

I think you are going to need to get some mall tall plants from that Place if we go on Thursday?

Am i missing something here, I must be so somebody tell me why the microwave cant be beside the aquarium :dunno:

As microwaves leak small ammounts of radioactive emissions even when not in use, and when in use they emit a fair bit, So having next to your tank is sending Alpha and Betta rays of radiation through your water or your fish!
