Here's Laci now! I've been waiting for weeks for her to have her fry but still nothing. She looks like she's about to burst!

Lacy looks to be due within three days I'd say. She's very purdy though . Have any idea what male she bred with?

Laci was pregnant when I bought her, so I don't know what male she was bred with. I've already moved her into the breeder net a few times for a couple hours because her labor signs were so strong but still there was no fry! She stays by her corner of that tank among some plants and chases away any fish that wander near her "area." She's a fat girl! I can hardly wait to see her fry!

wow, shes really big, you should try my plan

let her in the community tank for 1 day, then quickly move her to the breeder net and the next day she should give birth, it's happened to me 2 times with my green female swordtail.

Laci's in my 29 gallon tank with a bunch of older fry and some small tetras. I still want to move her fry into a breeder net in order to feed them several times a day, so I want her to delivery them in a breeder net. If she delivers her fry in the tank, I'll just have to hunt them down as usual!

ugh tell me about it.when ever i wasnt ready for babies sure enough there are lil fish swimming happy as clams and i have to wrestle with the tank just to get the lil buggers out.good luck with you new babies

Laci still didn't have her fry yet! I'll be sure to post pictures of them after they're born!
