Trouble In The Night .... All Help And Advice Welcome

Can someone advise me i have a problem within my tank over the last couple of nights i have found 2 dead fish when i have looked to check the chaps in the morning.
I have done all the relevant water checks PH > All water quality checks etc & everything is fine.
So i am bewildered as to what is going on.
I have had to the tank up and running for about 6/8 months and never had a problem until now.
My current fish stock is as follows...

6 Clown loach, (Chromobotia macracanthus) - 1

2 Zebra loach (Botia striata)

2 Congo Tetra (Phenacogrammus interruptus)

2 Gold Gourami - (Trichogaster trichopterus)- 1

2 Silver shark (Balantiocheilos melanopterus)

1 Suckermouth Gold Catfish (Hypostomus plecostomus Gold)

The 2 silver sharks & 2 Congo tetra were introduced to the tank last week

Apart from the lack of new fish, I've also had the same problem. I'm down to 2 tetras, 2 rainbows, and the seamingly indestructable very old rummy nose. I've lost 2 neons, 3 rainbows and 2 apple snails in a very short space of time. All my water stats are normal, and my shrimp (which I'm constantly being told are sensitive to water poisoning) are thriving, infact, I noticed some babies this morning. So I'll be watching this thread also, and I hope you (and I) can get some answers to the mysteries of our tank deaths.

With your tank, maybe the new fish were carrying something (especially if you didn't quarantine them first). But would any disease kill in a week? (that's a genuine question btw)

how big is your tank i believe some of those fish grow quite big, could it be a space issue? also you say your water is fine, what exactly are your readings

The tank i am current using is a Juwel monolux 60 Volume: approx. 54 Litres
Measurements: 61 x 31 x 36 cm even though this tank is quit small, So are my fish there are all 3/4 months old.
I had the tank running for a good 2 weeks before i started to stock it and all the new fish have been quarantined in a smaller tank for approx 7/10 days before they were introduced in with the others.
my water test results show a PH of 7
water quality showing safe levels as i do frequent partial water changes once a week.

I know you this tank seems small but i am currently having a steel stand made for a 550ltr tank I have purchased and they will all be transferred into it once it is set up and safe.

What tests have you done and what levels have they shown? You cant be vague with your readings.

specifically we'll want to know the readings for ammonia and nitrite.

what test kit are you using?

I can only hazard a guess at stress being the biggest contributing factor as we don't have much else to go on. Some pictures of the setup might help.

Size of the tank plus the stocking and your test results make no sense at all. Congo tetra are big fish let alone clown loach's. Who advised you on your stocking?

If you're using API test kits, its the nitrite that turns purple when nitrite is present. Can you confirm which test kit you're using? Is it still in date?

Im not sure what happened i did post a picture of the tank set up but it vanished !!

So i am going to try and post another picture

The test kit i am using is a NUTRAFIN MINI MASTER TESTING KIT and it is indeed in date 30/09/2015 expiry date.

I do not believe the tank to be overstocked as at the moment they are only small fish and they will have plenty of time to grow in the new tank.

Update also all fish are present this morning and non are looking distressed or sick
