Pregnant Molly?

Please tell me if she is pregnant. And she is NOT over fed, She is getting bigger and bigger everyday! and it never goes smaller. But it is kind of hard to tell if black mollies are pregnant. Im trying to breed my fish and i have had them for a little over a month, Please help me out and what i can do to make them more comfortable with their tank. And there partners

Your Molly will be pregnant if its be in contact with a male, she does look pregnant to me, the gestation period is 4-5 weeks and once the female is pregnant she will continue to have fry every month for 6 months without the male present as they hold sperm packets. Can you get a close pic with her on a side view? Close as possible

We have a thread here that will let you judge the female's progress. Nobody can observe your own fish as well as you can. I have a link in my signature area called My Molly's Progress, because it is pictures of my molly from one drop to the next. I included some commentary about what I saw at each stage so that people might learn from my pictures and could learn to discern a well fed female from a female carrying fry. It is often difficult to determine without a knowledge of what might actually be going on. Size and gravid spot color are not at all relevant in my opinion. Each of us actually uses our own method to judge a female's state but this thread tries to give you mine.
