what type of catfish is that at first i though it as a shovel nose but now im not sure lovley looking fish thanks for the pics (river shrimp alive or dead ) i can only get hold of the dry ones and the fish just snub them

Its Hemisorubim platyrynchos or Spotted Shovelnose, great fish and very rare. Only 3-4 come in each year apparently so it was a good find by CF. :nod:

River shrimp were live, very few of my fish will even look at the frozen and freeze dried shrimp though they will take frozen prawns from the super market. I would like to get them off the live stuff but unfortunately the Hemisorubim and one of my bichirs are still on live only.
