I have 3 new guppie that I got about 1 week ago and when I got them, they were totally healthy and fine. But a couple days ago, one of my guppies was slowing down and won't eat. Today when I got home the guppy was just sitting in the corner hiding and it won't move much. it's stomach is a little bigger. When i searched on google to see if it was okay, all the results said that it could be pregnant. 0130121657.jpg

Well it depends if she looks pregnant that is pregnant behavior it sounds like. but I would need ot see her. It sounds like she is close to giving birth. Is her stomach by any chance squarish?

I can't really tell if its square shaped because it won't swim up so i can't see its whole belly.

More than likely it is pregnant, does it have any white spots on it at all?

Also by its pooper Area lol is it really dark black?

get your water levels checked you could have high nitrates as this happened to my guppies

Sorry to hear that the fish dies. WHen you've had your water checked, did the shop tell you the numbers, or did they just say "it's fine"? I ask because sometimes LFS staff don't really know what's good and what's not - if they said it wasn't fine, you might not buy another fish at that point.

I would also strongly suggest you get your own liquid test kit, you can get the API one off Ebay for £20 - you will know for yourself then, not having to rely on someone else's interpretation.
