Fish Fanatic
Hello-- I've found a number of egg-like things in my tank, but I'm not sure what they are. I was hoping they were cory eggs, but they seem way too small compared to what I've seen online. I also have two kinds of tetras (can't find good pics of those eggs to compare) and a single bristlenose (so I'm pretty sure they aren't his/hers). I really hope they aren't snail eggs-- I have a small colony of snails that hitchhiked on some plants, but their numbers are actually down right now. I figure I would have seen these before when the snails were at their peak.
They're rather tiny, maybe like a large grain of sand? Or perhaps best described as a small bubble with a sand-sized dot in the middle. The groups seen in these pics also appear to be encapsulated in a bubble. I'm finding them on the glass, on some leaves, and on some wood. Thanks for any help!
