Though cacti would go well with some golden sand, if only they'd be able to live underwater and also not be a threat to fish...
My mom's cacti never made flowers, probably because they aren't given the best conditions.Some cacti have really great flowers, but this pic has to be a setup or the person responsable for planting them needs to be looked at.

What about the extremely high reflective surfaces? Aquariums don't reflect that much (like a mirror) unless they have water inside them (look at top right/left of the inside of it).
I mean on the side walls. Look at that reflection where yellow arrows point.
