Finished entirely now the tank is all cycled, and decoration is in place, now all I have to get is the fish.
Really exiting.
Comments welcome.

i probably would have put something a bit substantial on the left hand side, it looks a bit bare - unless thats what you're going for. other than that looks nice. enjoy it now, if you have luck like mine your fsh will soon decide the sand needs re-arranging, and the plants will look better floating on the surface, or in their bellies :unsure:
 
I like it! I do prefer a background to make things pop, but your tank is nice either way! Take more pics when you stock.
 
Tank looks great bud, gotta say though i have lost count of how many times i have thought to myself i have a final layout lol

I'm getting 3 pearl gourami 5 ottos 6 cardinal tetra 2 apistogramma borelli 3 assassin snails and maybe a loach of some kind

looks great man i bet youre glad cycling is finally over!

i have only been waiting three days or so and im getting impatient already!
but i know everyone who wants to do it right has to wait

but yeah i think it looks really nice and clean - not too much going on which means you wont be distracted from the fish when theyre in!

maybe some long plantlife on the left at the back?

Yeah cycling was such a nightmare had it set up since christmas
Thought about getting some more plants but i thought if you have too much then it can spoil it may get some long-ish foreground plants though

oh really? atleast you had time to save money for fish lol...

yeah thats true its best to leave space than to over do it with plants i guess!

looking forward to seeing it stocked

Excellen, the fish are really going to love that! I agree a background might help hide the filter at the back (black filter/black background) - but apart from that, really ace :) and nice stocking selection too.
